The Baltic Dry Index rose for the fifth straight session, up another 120 points or 5.8% to 2,203, touching its highest level since 21 March. Hong Kong-listed shipping stocks performed well today. OOIL (00316.HK) trades now at $128.6, hiking 6.37%, hitting an over-eight-month high, with 1.455 million shares traded, involving $185 million. COSCO SHIP HOLD (01919.HK) opened 0.94% higher today and peaked at $11.52. It now trades at $11.44, up 7.12%, achieving a 20-month high, with 50.8949 million shares traded, involving $573 million. PACIFIC BASIN (02343.HK) trades now at $2.95, rising 4.61%, hitting a high of over 1 year, with 34.2 million shares traded, involving $100 million. COSCO SHIP ENGY (01138.HK) opened 0.41% higher today and logged a high at $10.48. It now trades at $10.3, lifting 4.89%, hitting a high of over 13 years, with 17.8985 million shares traded, involving $183 million.
